Third Annual Fundraiser

Please come and join us to celebrate and raise funds for Teens on Edge. Teens on Edge is a learn to ski program started by Denis Masson and his son Matthew with the goal of working with a select group of local teens and helping them achieve increased self esteem and striving towards personal growth. Denis has been quite
successful in reaching out to community partners to help make this group possible but he is now reaching out to the community to help support his group's future endeavours. Fundraising goes to outfitting each teen with their own personal ski equipment and gear, ski passes to various ski clubs and registration fees to those kids that want to acheive their ski instructor certification.

These teens are dedicated to the community and frequently volunteer their time at local events. Please join us in supporting this very special and important program.

We are fortunate to have The Ronnie Douglas Blues Band providing live music. There will also be a silent auction with some extraordinary items donated by some very generous supporters.

Tickets are $15 and available from Denis,Toby-Ann and, feel free to message him on Facebook. Don't forget to invite your friends!!

Start of the Fourth Season

Well here we go!   January 8th will be the start of our 4th season, and a night of firsts for our new recruits.  For some, this will be their first time on skis, or the first time skiing on their very own skis, and their first time meeting with everyone in the group.  This is where it all starts - new friends, new skills, new adventures and loads of memories.

The new members' anticipation will build in the hours leading up to the meeting, and we will all feel their anticipation from the moment they arrive in the parking lot at the ski hill. Getting ready in the lodge will have it's share of nervous giggles. Walking outside and gearing up will be another new experience. Then comes the time for the first ride on the magic carpet capped by standing on top of the intimidating Bunny Hill.  A couple rides on beginner terrain for some will lead to the first chair ride.   By the end of the night everyone graduates from the Bunny Hill and their journey, filled with success and memories of a lifetime has begun!
